The Scott Kelby World Wide Photo Walk was held on July 24th, 2010. This is a giant event where photographers take to the streets of their locale and walk around taking pictures. This year saw 1,111 photo walks and 33,483 participants from all over the world.
I didn't know about this event until a co-worker mentioned it to me. Unfortunately, the Calgary/Inglewood photo walk that he was going to was already full, but I found that there was plenty of room in the Calgary/Downtown photo walk, so I signed up.
